It’s time to grab your girls and celebrate Galentine’s Day. What is Galentine’s Day, you ask? It’s a day for the girls and a day of celebrating friendship. This year I decided to throw my girls a Galentine’s Day brunch! It was everything I wanted and then some! Galentine’s day is celebrated on February 13, a day before Valentine’s Day. Although not an official holiday, it should be!
Life has taught me to live in the moment and pour into the people around me. I may not speak with my friends daily, but I know they’re only a phone call away. I believe it’s so important to nurture these relationships. As we get older and start our own lives, our friendships tend to fall by the wayside. I am committing to checking in more and seeing them in person at least twice a year!

Menu
My friends and I LOVE to eat, so having food was a no-brainer. I kept things simple while also checking food allergies.
Bacon
Eggs
Grits
Chicken Tenders
Waffles
Fruit Tray
Cupcakes
Donuts
Juice
Champagne
Decor
I grabbed a few balloon packs from Amazon to help with the space. Don’t overthink this process; go as glam as you want, or keep it simple. I opted for a simple route - less stress and more fun.
Fun Fact: Galentine’s Day started from an episode of Parks and Rec in 2010.
Gifts
It wouldn’t be me if I didn’t send the girls home with a little gift. I ordered personalized gift tags with their names and favorite colors, Galentine’s Day-themed cups filled with candy, and a cute pair of heart sunglasses.
Set the mood with some good tunes
If you can’t sing some of your favorite songs with your girls, then who can you do it with? We plugged up the JBL Bluetooth Speaker and rocked out to our favorite 90s and 00s R&B!

Take ALL the photos
How often do you get to hang with your best girls? For me, not often, snap photos, even candid shots; trust me, you’ll want them later.
